I am attempting to get my newly rebuilt 2 liter started and inadvertantly reversed the coil wires [electronic] and when I went to crank the engine got a loud pop! Looked in the engine bay and no sign of any damage.
Any thoughts? Did I destroy the coil? I have an extra but it's a stock, not blue. Should I try it? |

Very important with electronic parts not to let the smoke out! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
The smoke inside the parts is where the"magic" happens. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) Believe I know all about electronic parts that have had the smoke released from them! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) Lo Siento = I feel your pain... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) |
