I saw a thread on here somewhere, but of course, I did not bookmark it, or add to it, and I can't find it now....
But I bought a new High Beam Relay or Headlight relay, whatever it is called. It has an extra blade (30 IIRC). On the thread that I can't find, it was noted that the extra post has to be jumped to one of the 4 others. Truthfully, that is what I can't remember. So does it jump to 56a, S, 56b or 56? And if anyone can find the thread, please add it here. Thanks, Clark |

Excellent..... The thread title was misspelled. Maybe that is why I had trouble... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
THis is the missing piece i needed.... "According to Dr Porsche's 914'S,TIPS PAGE 105: The 4 term headlight relay has neen replaced by a 5 terminal part. To use this new part, plug the four wires in the orig config, red / white to 56, yellow to 56A, yellow / red to S and white/blue to 56B or F and then jump 56 to the new 30" And I have the TIPS book too. Never would have thought to look there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Thanks, Clark |
