I have the room in my weber /6 conversion so I want to add a charcoal canister. I couldn't smell gas with a half tank, but I just filled up and I can smell just a whiff of gas, so I want to try a canister. I have the original plastic type out of my '74.

The can has a big smog hose each end and one end has the small line from the tank, which is the in and out sides?

Also what would be the optimal inlet placement with K&N rain hats?

One of those things i regret i removed when i redid the car some 15 years ago. Should have kept that canister.
