I have resisted getting personalized plates as Calif DMV fees just piss me off and they want even more money every year just to have these types of plates. Well never say never I did it. Here’s to me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/KMA.gif) Californias Ass (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

CA, of course, screws you to get a "vanity plate" as they call it. It's $50 to get one and that includes the yellow/black plates. So $50 regardless of it being a personalized plate or not. Then $40 a year when you register to keep it. I guess they have to take from the working class to give to those who don't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I agree. I could live with the $50 for the vanity plate fee but not the extra $40 per year. I'll keep my original blue/yellow letter plates.
