Looking for those out there that have Weber 34 ICT carbs on their ride, particularly on a 1.7. What do you think of them? Are you happy with them? Do you wish you upgraded to 40's?

In really wish we could put the "stock cam doesn't work on carbs" myth
The stock cam is the same between the factory US fuel injected cars and the Euro carb'd cars. There is no huge loss by swapping to carbs because of the cam. Is it optimal, no. But no factory cam is optimal for performance. There's always a compromise between drivability and power. If you take the time to tune your carbs properly the car will be fine. |
