Anyone run the classic Pirelli CN-36 tire on any car? I'm looking for specific feedback on this tire.

I considered the Pirelli’s but ended up purchasing the Vredestein Sprint Classics 185/70/15 because of the price.....I don’t regret the decision.

Here’s a good comparison article.....

That is a fine-looking 914 2.0, Jeff. Beautiful.

I have yet to see CN36s on a 914. Know of a few with Avon CR6ZZ, Michelin XWX, and Vred Sprint Classics, but no CN36s so far. Hear the new ones are quite good, with modern compounds + perfect period looks. But I am dreaming of new A-008Rs or AVS Intermediates. There are not a lot of great choices for 15s that look right on a 914 and offer great performance like some of the late 1980s-2000s tires did—just one modern summer tire in 185/70, 195/65, and 215/60, and that's the Pirelli P6000...and I wonder if the CN36 will kill it off. 205/60 is a wasteland, as is 205/55. I've always wondered about the BFG Radial T/A in 205/60, but can't seem to find much in the way of feedback from the few who have tried them on a Porsche. I figure they have to be better than the OE tires for the 914, but…
