So wanted to separate this from the GB we did so you can see when we update. We are optimistic that we will reach the design cycle target of 200,000 cycles, but will continue to test it to failure.
Everyone that signed up should have theirs by now and there were a few that backed out that I'm PMing those in line tonight. I'm proud to say that we are broke 128,697 before I left this afternoon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Attached image(s) ![]() |

If my math is correct, for a typical daily driver, the fuel pump relay should cycle 4 times a day (if you go to lunch), once in the morning, once going to lunch, once returning from lunch and once going home. If you work on a 7-day week (most don't), there are 365 days in a year. Based upon the latest cycle number of 128,697 so far, that means the relay will last:
128,697 cycles / (4 cycles per day x 365 days/year) = 88 years That is longer than most of us will live. My conclusion.... great product. Thanks Mark. |
