Hi guys, happy Friday.

I have a matched pair of red Koni rear shocks, one is good but one is bad. The bad one doesn’t move freely and binds, so needs a full rebuild.

What would you do with these things? Last time I looked rebuild costs on these were fought the same as buying a new 737-800, but freely admit I am out of the current thinking on how/where to get these rebuilt.

Thanks!

I know for a fact that Koni won't rebuild them in-house; they don't do that any more (I'm a Koni butt-boy and race on Konis, plus I'm friends with the North America Motorsports Manager).

Koni will direct you to Performance Shock (https://performanceshock.com/) or Pro Part, both in CA, or Truechoice in OH (https://www.truechoicekoniracingservices.com/).

Whatever you do, don't toss 'em. If you're not going to use them I'll take 'em.
