I am restoring my gauges and need to replace the glass/plastic with glass as it is scratched.
Does anyone know glass type (silicon borate, glare reducing, etc.) diameter and thickness for the main instruments and the console gauges? Do you know of any place to buy this glass? I contacted Palo Alto Speedometer but they do not sell glass by itself. Thanks, Jeff |

I think you're over-thinking this - just take one of your current plastic lenses to a glass shop and tell them what you're doing. they'll measure thickness and give you an opinion on what type to use.
Not sure if they are close to you but after a quick search, I might start here: D Pollack Glass & Mirror 124 N Cass Ave, Westmont, IL 60559 |

That is exactly what I did. I took all three in and told them what they were for. They cut the glass for me on the spot while I waited. in and out in less than 30 minutes. |
