Hi
Dumb question..... if my 1974 Porsche 914 has a build date of 9/1973, does that mean my steering wheel will have. 1973 stamp or 1974?
Thanks for any advice

The Tier 1's add the manufacture date on for traceability, if there is a quality concern they can trace it back to production batches and the batches for the parts used. Your steering wheel should have a date prior to September 73.

Does that mean it can have a 1971 or 1972 date even though my car is a 1974? Thanks for your help
