So I’ve been busy - gradually detailing and fixing a few things.
I removed the battery - to get a good look at the tray and the area beneath the battery. Good news. It all looks well. A little surface rust on the top of the battery tray. Rust killed, and I’ll prime / paint. Happy with my morning’s work. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

ECU out. Accessed hell hole.
Wire brush. Punched hole in that silly drain plug. Obviously caused water collection. Good news is everything is solid. Light surface rust. Relief. I’ll rust treat, prime and top coat. Want pita to get you hand in there! Someone said on here - it won’t be zero rust. They were right. But if this is it - then I’m good. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |
