So I’ve been busy - gradually detailing and fixing a few things.
I removed the battery - to get a good look at the tray and the area beneath the battery. Good news. It all looks well. A little surface rust on the top of the battery tray. Rust killed, and I’ll prime / paint. Happy with my morning’s work. Attached thumbnail(s)

It’s gone. Getting access to spray was not easy. But glad the hell hole was perfect.
I’d probably drop the engine if I did the job again. Car started and ran well after completing the reassembly. Relief. |
