Hi Folks,
I'm new to the forum. I've been trying to get my project up and going for a couple of years now and it's finally about to get some momentum over the coming months. I tried to start a thread in the 'Restoration and Build Threads' area but I got a note saying that I didn't have permission to do so. Is it cool to start a build thread in this part of the forum? Thanks and greetings from Australia. // Luke. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

What's with the shifter over a stock one? cheers. Oh and nice car by the way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Thanks but I don't understand the question. Do you mean what brand is it? It's by Thorotec in Germany. @ FUEL14 we are all in the karmann club (me not yet, but shortly). porsche purist crowd won't/wouldn't have us. ....and i have a long memory when it comes to the arsedragger lot from 30 years ago. don't do facebook, but i'll drop you a pm with my number. the two i know happily run in the k club. we have been made very welcome there. i occasionally join in with the 356 mob who are relaxed about 914s these days. Great, I'll talk to you soon. Loving the progress! FYI, if you put a damp towel over the wrinkles and loose aeas on your seats and run a steam iron over them, the fabric will tighten up and pull most or al of the wrinkles out. The pros use a steamer which you might be able to rent, but I found the towel and iron that I already had on hand worked great. Thanks, I'll sort it down the track, no rush. A bit of usage in the sunshine come spring will also help. |
