I am planning on getting rid of the wood and replacing with the vinyl basketweave....any tips?

After a winter of other projects, finally getting back around to the more fun stuff...

Sorry for the delay on the photos.

That sweet vintage sanyo headunit will be disapparing soon enough.

But what do I need to do to do it right?

Glue reco? I was planning on using a vinyl adhesive.
