I am figuring I got the banana for $400 and the 928 for $1000 and have most of the other stuff to do this and you can sell off parts of what you have to get funds..... I think I could do a 928 powered Chalon and be within thier money requirements (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Should I go for it and hold off on the racer for now. any thoughts

The GRM challenge is pretty cool,
Review the competitions they judge you on & your competition. 3 Race classes (Circuit, slalom & 1/4 mile drag) plus a concours type thing. Previous winning competitors have run 9 sec quarters & we're pretty nippy on the circuit. I helped a friend of a friend build a gen 2 rx7 & had a ball but came way down the order. I heard there we're a few 914's running but none made top 10. Ohh there's a limit on freebies & what you can recoup in selling from the car. |
