Hi ,
i found an issue that i think it´s not ok. The upper mount of the rear shocks has two rubber bushings. I believe the buschings should be pressed together from the nut on top of the schock. On my car this is not so. The upper rubber piece is loose an can be moved and turned. Here is a pic and a video that shows what i mean. Any thoughts how this must be? ![]() https://youtu.be/4fTn4ur3C0w Regards Michael |

Ian has the great video that might help you.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCEl24tNEfo My old lower bushing is 20.5mm thick. If that helps. If you are missing the washer on top of the spring cup I could see how the bushing would quickly deform around the spring cup. It seems that on some of them the washer was welded to the cup, I could be wrong. |
