I would post in classifieds but would like some info. I look up 914 axles and see lot of 912 and 911 axles show up; the specific 914 axles are really expensive (pelican). I am putting in a 2366 4 banger with a rebuilt 901 trans.
I still have 4 lug wheels, does that play a factor? I need a new pair of axles this week; best for value sources out there? Many thanks |

Axles are off. Mechanic says one is mush. CAN they be rebuilt? quickly? By a machine shop?
Was hoping to just but a pair ready to go, new or rebuilt. Mechanic rushing me. |

we have rebuilt axles on the shelf, but if yours do not have broken cages and just minor grooves in the joints then your mechanic can clean everything meticulously, mix up all of the parts and reassemble. That way the joints would then wear in a new pattern so actually tight
