Great article from Hemings. I smile every time I read that someone doesn’t understand why Porsche didn’t put a higher powered motor in the 914’s. The answer is obvious: the sales of the 911 would have tanked. A 916-6 could have been a mini super car if Porsche had sold them with the hipo six cylinder motors used in the 911S and 911R cars.
