Put everything you take off in containers so you don’t lose anything and label if any doubt. After several days with the engine out you will forget things! Also, Plan to spend half your time cleaning stuff.

It is the cleaning of all the old oil, dirt, and grease that takes 90% of the time the first time you do this job. If you stay up on the maintenance and don't let it get filthy again, you can drop it in a couple hours the next time.
