Hello Everyone
I'm a recent new owner to a 74 1.8 and just had the rust addressed, re-sprayed and new seals (from 914rubber). Went to pick it up from the shop and there is gapping in the windows, and they won't track in the vertical targa seal. Bodyshop thinks the rubber is too hard and will correct with time, I'm not so sure. Don't think the windows were ever removed from the doors, but the window seals were replaced. 1) Did something happen to the windows and now need to be adjusted for the gapping? 2) When the windows are up, they should slide into the track within the vertical targa seal? Currently when rolled up, the top rear portion of the window sits well outside the seals. Very appreciative for your help and suggestions. 785] |
