Go direct to the transaxle Co. where most of the independent shops send your gearboxes to; in Lake Havasu, California Motorsports. They even have a flat rate price set up for the 901; additional costs for cnc machined updrade items avail as well.

Another vote for California Motorsports in Lake Havasu City. Took the transaxle from my '73 last summer and it came back looking like a piece of jewelry. It will now outlast me.
I'm presenting pullling the engine/transaxle in my '71 to have them go over it after 120K miles and 50 years. I had a good Porsche mechanic friend put a 6/29 R&P in it many years ago when I was autocrossing it lot but I'm having the original 7/31 put back in as autocrossing days are in the 914 and my rear view mirror.
