Happy post Thanksgiving everyone.
Im in the middle of installing new windows seals from 914Rubber and it seems most seals are larger that what they need to be. This is good as most 914 are not exactly the same. In the below picture am I supposed to cut the section of the vertical seal that goes beyond the aluminum retaining strip? Does my seal look installed in the correct orientation?  |

If you pulled them thru the strip give them time to recover before cutting. Glycerin is a super lube for rubber items. For outer window scrapers, trim to fit after recovery and the end caps are put back on.
