I am mystified why Porsche made the decision NOT to design the 914 body with a fuel door to make fill-ups more convenient. When the '64 model of the Type 356 debuted, they bragged about the improvement of it having a fuel door. Six years later, when the 914 debuted, no fuel door, and we have been lifting our frunks at the gas station ever since (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) A step backward in my opinion.

I like the fact that the fuel cap is secure behind a lock and one needs access to the inside of the car to get to the fuel inlet.

Said the Pinto owner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) OH, I've told my wife many times that if that happens, just have a big loader pick up the wreck with my charred remains in it and drop it all in the 6ft hole. |
