Hi Folks,
I'm new to the forum. I've been trying to get my project up and going for a couple of years now and it's finally about to get some momentum over the coming months. I tried to start a thread in the 'Restoration and Build Threads' area but I got a note saying that I didn't have permission to do so. Is it cool to start a build thread in this part of the forum? I then made a start on the carpet, also from Carbuilders (Melbourne). It's not a 914 kit, I started with a roll of raw material. It's not the most hard-wearing carpet around, but it goes around corners really nicely and easy to glue down and trim to size.
Since I threw the factory backpad in the bin a couple of years ago, it's been my intention to carpet all the way up to the rear glass, so that's what I did.
