hi all,
i'm looking for a place to refurbish wheels in the greater bay area ...

anyone have a lead for a good & cheap (haha) place?

i have a set of alloy ronal wheels, 8" x 16 and 9" x 16 that currently have a "chrome" finish on them that is flaking off.
i would like to go with the polished look and black centers.

PS: here's how they currently look ...

Someone once told me that once a wheel is chromed, it will never polish out right. Something about the way they have to chrome it. Kind of like chrome plating a painted bumper. It doesnt work well. I hope it is not true but I thought I would pass it on to you.
