What is the safest way to get the torsion bars installed in the engine bay?

Use the Original Custom's tool available at 914Rubber. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
I will do a writeup on this eventually. I did remove my hinges and documented it with pictures, but I am not ready to reinstall them yet... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) The tool and a towel to protect your paint. Be careful and wear safety glasses. |

As a resident of a cold climate, I HATE all pneumatic struts on cars and cuss them every winter because they fail to work at sub zero temps. Been bonked in the head way too many times. |
