I guess dealing with 50 yr old parts ... shit just happens. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
The bushing gave up to ghost and disintegrated ,lucky for me I had a spare shift rod. I am just wondering what the solution is. Has anyone had luck re-bushing the shift rod

One of my favorite bushing installation photos. I guess they couldn't get the pin out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

One of my favorite bushing installation photos.

Uhh, hmmm...I guess that'll work...?
