We are a funny group. We celebrate when our cars go up in value but criticize when we think sellers are asking too much.

Just a little while ago, mid 80’s Carrera’s sold sub $20K. Now a nice one is $60-80k. I hope that doesn’t happen to 914’s because it will price me out of the playground.
I recently grabbed a 912 for sub 20k. In that lower range, they are becoming few and far between. I think by next year, my $15k car will become a 25k car, just because of market exuberance. I’m actually not happy about that possibility because I’d like to buy another for a six conversion.
