Hi.
Does anyone here know if the electric choke modules are interchangeable between the Weber DGEV and DFEV 32/62’s? I have been scouring the internet for this topic without any clear conclusion. Thanks much! |

Thanks JamesM. I appreciate the links. I am still reasonably new to this and not savvy about finding parts lists, etc. It looks like the are different: x.332 for the DF series and x.333 for the DG. Probably mirror images like the carbs are.

Probably mirror images like the carbs are. Should fit both carbs ,do you really need it? these take careful setting otherwise they stay on too long and fuel wash your engine,if they stay on all the time they will destroy your engine rather quickly, fuel is a crappy lubricate. These carbs are based on motors that used a coolant water feed choke (bymetal )and that worked fine till you had a bad thermostat or coolant leaks. Unless you live in a very cold year round climate don't bother,3-4 pumps on the throttle and a short warm should be fine with the choke set fully open. Good luck. |
