Just got two lever assemblies back. Had 2 base pieces chromed, that usually are rusted and added modified 1972 knob. 72 knob is the same as the 911 one. Just drill a hole same size as threaded part and screw it on. I had sticker shock of $180 to get 6 pieces chromed. Nobody wants to do small stuff I guess.

very unique with the 72 lever! We have at least a hundred of the console heater levers with the screw on knob on the shelf and new old stock of the complete NON console 72 heater levers without the knob
