I have a 1974 2.0 914 that I have owned since 1980. It has been sitting for years and I am now losing my garage space and need to do something soon. I have too many other projects and don't think I have the time or resources to bring this car back to life. Of course it has the usual 914 rust but it is all there. I really don't know what this car is worth and would be looking for some ideas of what to sell it for. As soon as I can figure out how to add some pictures I will.
I think this link to photos should work https://photos.app.goo.gl/xn75Lh5DTF1NgEdQ9 [Admin edit: Added some of the pics directly to this thread] ![]() |

As I can attest, a completely rust free soCal/Az 914 can be had for not much money these days. My 71 cost 3K to buy and 42K to sell on BAT. I will not discuss the inbetween and eratta that got it to 42............ Done right, there is enough spread to buy another Porsche (albeit, a Boxster S) with the profits.
I think Mark's offer is a real decent one given the insurmontable issues shown in the photos. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
