As for pictures, I typically upload my phone pictures on my laptop, then open them with Paint. I rotate, crop to the interesting zone, and rescale if too large, then save. When I upload to the forum they are perfect. I typically target around 300mb size file. This allow for decent size pictures and putting up to about 10 of them per post.
