Getting ready to install the engine lid grill pieces and cannot recall if the factory painted under them black or left them body color?
Did some searching under the classic and originality threads, couldn't find a solid answer. Attached thumbnail(s)

Experts will chime in but there is no interest from a design point of view of showing back reinforcing structure. The grill is black and we shouldn't be seeing the background through the grill, so I am 99.9999999999% sure it doesn't matter if it is a -4 or -6, again from a design/look standpoint.
