Windshields present a few things to consider.
Is OEM supplier important ? Some aftermarket windshields are too flat and some may interfere with trim install. Is method of install important ? original butyl or caulk gun ? original butyl is cleaner and is less likely to interfere with trim install. Is your trim reusable ? Do you want tinted or clear ? Ask before commiting to any part or installer. I'm sure there are other things that can be a surprise. Price may not be the biggest consideration. |

That ^^^ I would like a rounded top one like the original. Not sure if the Dealer, SM, or Rufino can get this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I bought a couple of Seikrut windshields from ProSource and they shipped them when Richard Tankel was still with them. Must have been $200 worth of plywood/lumber. That was 2 years ago so I'm hoping they're still available. I've installed a couple of Chinese windshields too and they fit fine albeit a small flat area. I picked up the Chinese ones at a warehouse in Riverside IIRC. I did pay ProSource for those also then picked them up the next day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
