I found this picture on the worldupholstery website under 'Porsche 356 speedster' but I've never seen it in any of those cars before. I think it's agreat looking seat and I'd like to have it in my 914.

Nah, I like the look of no-headRest, that's what I'm doing with my stock seats that I'm rebuilding with larger bolsters. I sat in them last night and with the shorter seat cushion my head still doesn't sit higher than where the head support used to be. As for the backpad, it'll be reconfigured like Siverson did on his. This could also be done with a set of these "speedster" seats. Mine should look like this picture, but have bigger side bolsters.
