Very disappointed when I received 2 rebuilt calipers and one obviously had some considerable corrosion before being restored. After cad plating it looks like a gold nugget. The pad resting areas are extremely pitted and uneven. Pads move a lot more in the caliper than in my original calipers. Will this lead to any issues if I decide to use them?

Question is, how did that make it all the way to you? Quality control was terrible. This should be on the wall of shame at the supplier that you got it from. I have seen a lot of 914 calipers and that is the worst thing I have ever seen of any caliper!
Get the company to give you back all your money. I hope you used a Credit Card or PayPal and they will go to bat for you in case the vendor would not issue a full refund. And where did you get this from?
