Hi all. Glorious Sunday in Toronto, Ontario.
Added some 10mm sound deadening and heat shield to the car. Turned out pretty good. Did the doors as well and makes a remarkable difference. Bought 1 set (36 SQFT) of this stuff from Amazon for $55: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08SWB5DFF...=UTF8&psc=1 and for $13 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B071HX8JNK...=UTF8&psc=1 and about 3 hours of work on the floor, rear and doors. Cheap addition. [attachmentid=849 381] Attached thumbnail(s) |

Nice job! This material is 10mm thick!
Looks more like foam compared to the other material like Killmat that is thinner and pretty dense. I assume the foam is lighter but will that dampen vibration as well? I remember reading a thread on this and there were a few things that came into considerations but I forget what was the consensus... |

It is a bit thick - sorry I mis-stated the thickness but it's working well. Has decreased the noise in the cabin when the top is on. |
