Been thinking about finding another clean 914 for a few years. Then expanded my thinking to the up and comers; 924/944/968. Then convinced myself I was only casually looking and well, if you look at 968’s, might as well go big and look at the CS.

Found this one recently brought in from Japan. About 1900 CS’s produced from 92-95. None sold in the US but could be imported starting around 2018 (after 25 years). Availability is even more limited due to many RHD cars. Will take delivery as soon as I can arrange transportation in the next 2-4 weeks hopefully.

Very cool cars and the final development of a real drivers car, shame they only built a handful of the turbo version ?.
Amazing handling even in the early version 944 ,mine was ROW 85 model with a 89 ROW 2.7 engine and MAF conversion, went well and was so much fun on sharp corners and twisty roads...miss that car for those reasons .
Don't agree with the comment about the side decals if you have one of these in the US why not flaunt it with them ...I would lol .
The CS is an investment car due to limited numbers, but even the basic 968 was as really good car and often underated.
Well done and post updates when you can ,cheers.

I think I agree with you on the decals. It’s a unique car and being a little garish somehow seems fitting or acceptable on this car. I think I’ll likely add them.
