I am putting a two port fuel pump in the pumpkin in the front trunk. Do I need the return line? Can I plug it off/up?

The FI fuel loop is a loop (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Therefore, your new two port pump will supply fuel to the fuel rails controlled by the fuel pressure regulator. The excess fuel flows back to the tank. So in recap, the larger tunnel line feeds the fuel to the FI system, and the smaller tunnel line carries the excess fuel from the engine bay back to the tank. Good luck and use the correct hose clamps, not the gear type. |
