HI,
I am currently doing a 914 conversion. I have a 1974 914/4 that I am currently putting in a Subaru 2.0 Twin turbo engine that will be producing about 350+ horsepower. I already know that the engine will fit, because i have test fit it, and i have the adaptors on the way. I have a stage 3 six puck clutch for it, but i wanted to know if the stock 901 tranny will with stand this kind of abuse. I already have a radiator for the front, but wanted to know where the best place would be to run the coolant lines. Also what kind of body kits are availible for the 914, I think mine looks a little plain. What type of quarter mile time do think i can run with a 350+ horsepower engine that revs 8,500 Rpm's? I have most of the project figured out but any info is greatly apreciated. Oh also im going with the accel gen. VII DFI if anyone was wondering about engine management. Thanks Donny |

QUOTE(Brad Roberts @ May 30 2003, 02:42 PM) ... and the only way to run it mid engine is with the WEVO mid-engine kit for the 915 in a 914. And when he says "the only way" he means the only way other than using a cable shifter. (But the WEVO is better) -Ben M. ps - While on the topic of trany swaps... someday I'll run an upside-down G50 just to irk people who say it's not practical.
