I have noticed that the air box connection is loose after getting to work on the car. Took the box off, changed the filter and vacuum hoses but noticed the connection isn’t tight after getting everything back together. I’m not married to the stock box if there is a better solution but just not sure if this connection is a wear item or I’m missing a way to tighten this connection.

I would WTB a dif clamp. Your’s looks bent to the point that the bolt portions of the clamp make contact before it fully tightens.
