I have noticed that the air box connection is loose after getting to work on the car. Took the box off, changed the filter and vacuum hoses but noticed the connection isn’t tight after getting everything back together. I’m not married to the stock box if there is a better solution but just not sure if this connection is a wear item or I’m missing a way to tighten this connection.

I would just bend that metal piece back into shape. No need to go crazy with it.
Also, be careful as you replace the hoses. Many of the diagrams out there do not show the correct piping. Particularly for the decel valve. |
