Began cleaning the wiring harness of the 914/6 GT replica today... it's crusty as expected. It's had the usual hacks and splices and looks like some dead ends, but I haven't tested it yet. Expecting the worst, I've sent a request to Kroon for pricing.

Can anyone recommend a stateside source for wiring looms? Experiences?

I would buy one of Aase’s NOS 914-4 harnesses and change around the wires to make it a six harness. In my mind (non electrical person) it should be an easy mod.

I’m not so sure, but have not compared them side by side. Carefully compare the schematics and I suspect you will see differences in the dash/gauges/switches ignition areas. Look at the 14-pin relay board connection, bet it’s different too between the /4 and /6.

Jeff, I visited your site and saw you make quite a lot of products for -4s, do you rebuild -6 harnesses as well?

I may take you up on the relay board, Mark. This car sat outside a long time before I got it... everything is pretty crispy.

I concentrate on the /4s. Perry Kiehl does /6 engine harnesses. The only sources I am aware for the /6 chassis harness is Kroon and RD. I have an NOS /6 harness in my harness reference library but its NFS.
