I saw this ad on ebay...
MC Repair Kit It lists all these cars as having a common MC repair kit. Does anyone know if any of these other master cylinders are the same as a 911? Most of them seem to be cheaper. I looked at some of the pictures of other ads on ebay and some seem to be close while others look nothing like it. Anyone used anything other than a 911 master cyl to upgrade a 914 without modification? |

I have rebuilt a lot of calipers and MCs when we were racing, so I tend to disagree. That said, I will say I had rigged up a bench tester to make sure they would hold. One of the important keys is a non-scratched or pitted bore and we had the tools to refurbish them.
If you do not have this capability, buy it new....period |
