Pretty fun event. Met new folks and heard really fun stories.
914-6 owner. Got his 6 for their 50th wedding anniversary. Had a 1971 914-4 from dealer but was in an accident while parked in the early 80s. Always wanted a 6 but was out of budget back then. Original owner of 1973 914-4. Always had an itch for speed. Raced many cars in the 70’s in Detroit. still sporting a 4 but had his motor rebuilt in TRE motor sports and supposedly over 3.0 in displacement. As he says, he have 20 gorillas in his motor. I think the owner is a 914 world member but wasn’t able to connect. Beautiful car! Some of the aircooled beauty. Forgot to take a photo of a nice 912. |

I've owned the 73 Signal Orange 914 for 4 years now. Just rebuilt the the motor (2056 DJet) and transmission. Rick |
