1) I see the Jenvey Heritage TB set up on Eric's site. Eric are you planning on selling a kit with the parts to install?

B) Can someone post a list of parts needed to install this on a stock 2.0? There is clearly more than just the Holley thing that manages it.

@JamesM can probably cleanup where I missed a few.

1. Holley ECU - the brain
2. A pair of Jenvey Heritage IDF 40’s
3. Wide band O2 sensor
4. Crank trigger and sensor (Permatune Dizzy replacement)
5. Air intake sensor
6. Wiring skills

The Holley would replace your L or D-jet brain. This frankly what you’re after. It is a modern self learning system. It doesn’t care about your cam profiles so now you can simply build your dream engine and top it off with electronic fuel injection. It also can handle your spark as well. You can set, manipulate, and program, perfect timing, curves for each rpm range, etc. if you went that route you could stay with the Permatune or go with individual coils etc.

You mentioned above both Jenvey and dropping a system on a stock 2.0. That’s why I came up with that list. You could put this ECU on a stock 2 L motor and maintain most of the stock injection components. The MPS would obviously go away, but all of the induction could stay. The distributor and coil could stay but the Holley would not control the spark at that point.

Again, the real benefit of a system like this is to be able to build the Type 4 to and a more modern standard. They now have stroker cranks that fit into the case without modification. You can then select the cam of your choice because the electronic fuel injection is no longer dependent upon, a mild cam for its performance. The ECU takes its commands from the crank sensor, telling it how fast the engine is turning, the O2 sensor, telling it what the AFR is and the throttle position sensor telling it how far Ricks foot is in it. It also has an integrated MAP sensor on the board, telling it what manifold pressure is.

I guess the bottom line in fourth grader terms would be the computer takes all of that and works its magic. Basically 2023 New car EFI on a 914.
