Getting ready to install the engine lid grill pieces and cannot recall if the factory painted under them black or left them body color?
Did some searching under the classic and originality threads, couldn't find a solid answer. Attached thumbnail(s)

I just tossed an old sheet over the engine, probably should have taped things off for cleaner lines. Certain I got a little overspray on the underside of the engine lid. |
