Can someone tell me where the single black/blue wire that provides power for the defrost light on the floor behind the shifter comes from? What or where is the other end connected to?
When I screw the light holder to the floor and connect the wire I blow out fuse 7 on the fuse panel. It looks like it is coming from the back of the car, but maybe not??? Would appreciate the help. Thanks EJP914 |

Basically it is fed from the headlight switch along with all of the instrument gauge bulbs. The black/blue wire is the +12v side going to the bulb, and it grounds through the screw fastening the base assembly to the tunnel; or if in a center console there is a brown wire that connects to it.
