Curious if anyone could tell me if there is a difference between 1.8 and 1.7 cases if I were to use a 1.8 case on a 1.7 engine?

 If Sm914650 doesn’t mind I have a quick question. I grenaded my first case, a Porsche mechanic I knew got me this case. It has no I D # at all. Any idea was it a factory replacement? |
