Does that 911 mirror use the stock mount? [/quote] @mtndawg I'm not sure. I didn't install them, they were already on the car when I got it. I have volumes of paperwork/receipts from the previous owner but nothing documented on the mirrors that I could find. Unlike the Stuttgart museum car they do sit in the stock location and the visibility is excellent. I think it is a tastefully done modification and looks great, but there is no particular advantage over stock mirrors in terms of visibility. Certainly no advantage in terms of cost as my understanding is these mirrors are expensive. When I have the doors apart at some point in the future I'll post pictures of how they are mounted. |
